About the Role The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping Azure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and modern DevOps methodologies. This role demands broad technical expertise, deep Azure platform knowledge, and a strong consultancy mindset to deliver high-value outcomes to enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and implementation of Azure-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on IaC and automation. Provide expert consulting services, aligning with Microsoft and security best practices. Design and implement Azure IaaS, networking, and ExpressRoute solutions. Establish frameworks, runbooks, configuration templates, policies, and governance models. Support cloud transformations, readiness assessments, and migrations from on-prem environments. Drive adoption of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines across infrastructure initiatives. Ensure security and compliance with Azure Policy, Key Vault, Defender, Sentinel, and other native tools. Deliver architecture for Azure analytics and data platforms. Required Experience and Skills Broad Azure expertise across IaaS, PaaS, and IaC environments (e.g. ARM, Bicep, Terraform). Strong background in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and related technologies. Deep understanding of Azure networking: vNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Azure DNS, WAF, and more. Experience with Azure security: AAD, B2B/B2C, Azure Security Centre, Key Vault, Azure Sentinel. Familiarity with Azure Stack HCI, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Storage (Files/Blobs), and managed disks. Strong experience in virtualisation, backup/DR (Azure Backup, Site Recovery), and Azure SQL databases. Knowledge of Azure governance tools including Lighthouse, Blueprints, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Cost Management. Demonstrated ability to work directly with enterprise clients, provide technical leadership, and communicate complex concepts clearly. Background working with large systems integrators or in enterprise consulting environments is highly regarded.
