We are now seeking a Financial Administrator to join our Sydney-based team and play a key role in ensuring our financial systems and operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with all regulatory and internal standards. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Allied Health, you will be responsible for the oversight and administration of financial operations within the Aged Care Allied Health division. From managing accounts and budgets to preparing detailed reports, your role will be critical in supporting the financial health and sustainability of our services. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage internal financial reports in collaboration with the Head of Allied Health Conduct ongoing budget review and performance monitoring Oversee and maintain financial record accuracy using Xero and internal systems Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, debtors, and staff wages Monitor debt prevention efforts and report outcomes to leadership Process supplier and subcontractor payments, resolve discrepancies, and suggest improvements Liaise with consultants and recruiters on invoice summaries for commission calculations Coordinate with ScotPac for funding matters including suspense debtors and credit notes Provide weekly aging reports and support broader reporting needs Collaborate with internal finance teams to streamline processes and maintain compliance What You’ll Bring Proficiency in Xero , Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) , and Microsoft Office Demonstrated success managing debtor and financial reporting High attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and compliance in financial operations Ideal Personal Attributes: Professional, proactive, and highly organised Motivated and eager to learn new systems and skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow through A collaborative approach and willingness to take initiative Enthusiastic, with a positive “can-do” attitude Why Join AHP?
