The Opportunity: Inventory control is connected to all different departments within the company including Store Operations, Merchandising Planning, Logistics and Management, where we can involve all departments to achieve appropriate inventory according to sales power of each store and each item. Inventory controller’s role is to be responsible for each product from the first planning stage until the sell out of the item, where we discover and solve issues together with stores to maximize customer satisfaction, sales and profit. Key Responsibilities: Develop allocation plans by division based on inventory and store needs on weekly basis Forecast and update plan regularly based on current sales trends on weekly basis Ensure a proper balance of inventory across all stores within the Australian market Ensure key items/core products are in stock at a colour size level and achieve weekly company KPI for out of stock % Maximize sales performance and ensure inventory objectives are met to improve stock turns and increased gross margin Work closely with cross-functional business partners (field management and merchandisers) on inventory and business opportunities Communicate regularly with store on specific issues and forward to merchandisers for evaluation and/or action Plan allocation flow to ensure newness on the sales floor on weekly and monthly basis Work with the warehouse to prioritize orders through receiving, production and shipping when necessary to protect sales trends and inventory levels in stores Analyse daily and weekly reports to maximize potential sales and balance inventories across stores Work with merchandisers to execute monthly layouts across different store formats Generate reports as requested by business partners, or senior executives Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Experience, skills and knowledge 1-2 years of experience in Inventory Control/Allocations, preferably in the retail fashion sector Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of Planning and Allocation systems preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated experience with MS and G-Suite including strong excel skills Team player with a positive attitude; self-motivated and energetic Excellent analytical ability; quick learner; organizational skills; proactive Ability to adapt to a highly entrepreneurial environment and react to change quickly Excellent time management skills What's in it for You?
