This is an exciting opportunity to join Brandbank as a Shipping Coordinator. In this role, reporting to the Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the imports and exports for all six of Brandbank's brands: Seed Heritage, Unison, allkinds, Commonry, kikki.K, and FINE-DAY. THE ROLE: Coordinate with freight forwarders for planning/scheduling air/sea shipments. Obtain air freight quotes for cost-effective transportation. Monitor and maintain purchase order lead times in the system. Oversee weekly cargo handover to ensure compliance with purchase orders. Track timely cargo handovers and shipments from origin to destination. Manage error messages in the freight forwarder system for correct SKU lines. Ensure proper carton usage by suppliers and approve changes as necessary. Support efficient supplier responses to issues. Ensure compliance with Brandbank’s Supplier Compliance Manual and forwarder SOP. Keep internal departments updated on shipments. Collaborate with production, buying, and planning teams on shipping issues. Report issues or potential delays to the Shipping Manager and Supply Chain team. Raise mapping-related issues with IT. On-site role, 5 days a week, at St Kilda Road offices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain (desirable). Experience in shipping and freight forwarding with knowledge of customs legal requirements for imports/exports. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships. Excellent organisational skills with efficient process execution. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability across departments. Problem-solving abilities in a complex logistics environment.
