The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager to undertake a Certificate IV in Project Management Practice over a two-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification. The location for this traineeship will be based at Broadmeadows and Tullamarine. During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will experience a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing Developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all electrical supply policies, VESI Standards and industry governing regulations Design of electricity distribution systems Analyse and problem solve network faults Issue customer offers, agreements, cost estimates and prepare statement of works for client Plan and coordinate electrical overhead and underground construction works associated with customer requirements Manage and oversee particular aspects of project implementation, including SAP, monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and managing budget What We’re Looking For This is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to be able to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn. When you complete the program successfully, you will have completed all competencies for a Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.
