CIO Overview Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, we are looking for a CIO who is not only technically proficient but also has exceptional communication and leadership capabilities. The successful CIO will play an integral part in shaping our technology strategy and ensuring our systems align with Abbe's overall goals. You will be responsible for managing a national team of IT professionals and providing on the job mentoring and support. Furthermore, your appointment will be to maintain a strong, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure while also balancing cybersecurity measures and data protection. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and oversee the technology roadmap Proactively make recommendations as required for emerging technologies Collaborate cross-functionality through partnering with various key stakeholders Management of IT budget, forecasting and project financial accountabilities Control the provision of secure and stable IT services and effective risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement cybersecurity measures Establish and maintain value-based stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships Travel interstate (as required) to lead, mentor and coach your diverse team of IT professionals Support and collaborate with the Customer Experience Director in the monitoring, upkeep and upgrade of their core ERP system Staying on top of industry trends and new IT technologies through the attendance of training, events and forums Skills & Experience The CIO is a pivotal company role where your strong understanding of FMCG industry sectors and leading technologies will be paramount to your success. In addition we require: Exceptional leadership capabilities and proven experience within a similar executive IT appointment Manufacturing or similar industry experience (highly desirable) Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset Outstanding communicator with the ability to effectively converse complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and decision makers Strong understanding of various technologies, corporate governance and cyber security Project management and proven delivery experience Innovator who constantly learns and adapts to new technologies and methodologies This role will require you to be a hands on leader who is available to work full-time on-site An Abbe Career TheCIOwill be a leader who not only focuses on the success of their people through upskilling and growth but also through fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture.
