Belt Splicers (Level 2 & Level 3 Required) FIFO From Perth - Casual, Part Time, Full Time, Permanent Days, Nights and Weekends Available The Opportunity: TechForce are seeking experienced Belt Splicers for various rolling shutdowns on several sites with tier 1 clients including BHP, RTIO, FMG FIFO from Perth Flexible arrangements to accommodate a work life balance Competitive rates weekly pay nightshift available permanent Duties and tasks: Managing conveyor belt systems and related components, including roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, and chutes Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment Installing, replacing, and refurbishing rollers and roller frames Handling steel cord, fabric, and woven belts Utilizing knowledge of skirting systems and conveyor structures Demonstrating excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, self-motivation, and strong work ethic J ob requirements: Essential: Prior experience as a Belt Splicer Full Australian working rights (Visa, PR etc.) Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and Lab DAS Desirable: MSIC (We can assist you to gain) Working at Heights ticket & Gas Test Atmospheres ticket Confined Spaces ticket High Risk Work Licence including EWP, Dogging and Rigging (Incentives available to gain these) Drivers Licence If you are interested in the above opportunity or would like to find our more information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Techforce Shutdown Team on 08 6363 7040.
