Counsellor - Community & Mental Health Services Location: Derby, WA Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90k-$100k super (negotiable based on experience) About the Organisation Our client is a respected community-based organisation committed to supporting individuals, children, families, and communities in navigating complex life challenges. Operating across Western Australia, the organisation focuses on trauma-informed, culturally safe services that promote healing, empowerment, and resilience. An opportunity is now available for a compassionate and skilled Counsellor to join the team in Derby WA and support young people affected by sexual violence or at risk of harm. The Role This is a meaningful and community-focused counselling role supporting Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and non-Aboriginal children and young people under the age of 25 who have experienced or are at risk of sexual abuse. It also includes working with young people who may be responsible for harmful sexual behaviours. The role blends counselling, community engagement, group facilitation, and interagency collaboration to provide holistic, culturally responsive support.
