Pilbara Ports are now looking for a Senior Contract Specialists based in the Perth CBD. Join the world’s largest bulk export port authority and make a difference! You will be responsible for ensuring that critical port service contracts are procured, negotiated, executed and administered in compliance with Pilbara Ports management systems, legal and statutory requirements and contractual obligations. You will also be responsible for providing guidance, training and mentorship to your team members and wider teams within Pilbara Ports. The Role Key aspects of your Senior Contracts Specialist role will include: Leading cross-functional input into the development of procurement packages including preparing and coordinating tenders of critical port services contracts and arrangements. Leading tender evaluations, reporting and approval processes. Preparing and negotiating new regulatory towage, pilotage and stevedoring and line boat Service Provider Licences Preparing and negotiating terms and conditions of critical and strategic marine and terminal operations contracts Overseeing all aspects of contract execution and compliance with terms and conditions of contracts Actively supporting Pilbara Ports teams to manage contracts and agreements and to anticipate variations and scope changes. Efficiently multi tasking complex items and providing well thought out solutions to any issues that arise. Leading strategy development for critical port services arrangements, contracts and Service Provider Licenses. This is an exciting permanent full-time role in a high-performing and fast-paced team. The Senior Contracts Specialists report into the Commercial Manager- Critical Port Services. About You This role is ideally suited to experienced commercial contract and procurement professionals from a range of industries including resources, construction and local and state government. Tertiary qualifications in one of business, commerce or law will be highly regarded. You will have a pro-active and positive approach and enjoy working with a diverse range of people. Your expert communication skills will enable you to quickly build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable providing guidance to others and promoting the team within the wider organisation.
