This role will involve ongoing training and supervision of coaches. The successful applicant will need to be available to work early mornings, evenings and weekends. About the role YMCA Head Coaches are an essential component in the delivery of YMCA aquatic education programs and services. You are required to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of YMCA aquatic programs, educational trends and industry development. This role also entails; • The delivery of safe, effective and professional sessions. • Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of Coaching. • Ensuring that they are available to undertake every allocated squad for a minimum of 12 months. • Management and Leadership of staff in the Squad team • Additional WHS, administration and planning of the Squad program To be successful in this role you will have: • Teacher of Competitive Strokes/ Swimming / or Swim Australia Foundation Coach Certificate • Development Accreditation • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates • Working with children check
