Snapshot of Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Sales, at its core you are responsible for driving sales growth in Victoria and ensuring your team of showroom consultants are striving to achieve sales targets You will lead and be accountable for excellence in customer experience to all visitors to the showroom, along with further developing strategic partnerships with external retail partners and stockists. Commercially you will implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong market presence You will follow up on all referrals and leads and maintain a meticulous call cycle to ensure regular contact with clients Along with other key commercial responsibilities, you will proactively seek new business through industry networking, whilst collaborating with the other State Managers and the team of internal commercial BDM’s. You will need: Extensive retail or wholesale leadership experience where you are seen as a mentor, coach and inspirational leader; you strive for excellence with your team To demonstrate a proven track record of sales growth and profitability in your core categories with strong commercial acumen To show initiative, be results oriented and have solid influencing skills at all levels Ideally, but not crucial, experience within the furniture homewares or interior design market You are flexible, fun loving and professional, but don’t take yourself too seriously Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; these are critical to your role.
