What we can offer you Competitive Salary Join a family business in a friendly environment Secure long term employment Ongoing training & development Position: CNC Waterjet Operator/Bridgesaw Operator Location: Bayswater, Melbourne Work Type: Full time Starting Time: ASAP Schedule: 40 hrs Salary: $40-$45 per hr plus Super & Overtime Your key duties Set up & operate CNC waterjet and bridge saw machines according to benchtop specifications, ensuring alignment and calibration for optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications. Operate machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. Monitor machine operations closely, making necessary adjustments Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity. General factory duties What you’ll need to succeed A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the stone industry At least 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet and bridge saw machines Strong attention to detail Ability to read plans and measurements A passion for stone craftsmanship Current working rights in Australia How to join ?
