Overview: Admissions Officer Full-time , Fixed Term position until December 2025 Salary Level HEW 5 17% Superannuation Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About the role As the Admissions Officer, you will provide support to the international student recruitment and admissions functions through the assessment of applications, production of correspondence, data entry and related administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for handl ing enquiries, provid ing advice to students and other interested parties, RMIT staff and external bodies on various matters related to international student admissions. You will get to play a significant part in the acceptance process through the lifting of conditions, checking payments in SAMS and issuing eCOEs . Ex perience in international admissions , Studylink and PRISMS would be highly regarded. To be successful in this position, you will have : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, manage heavy workloads, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines, ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt to changing work practices. Demonstrated ability to work in an office environment and manage administrative tasks accurately, promptly and efficiently as well as understanding a variety of systems. Highly developed self and work organisation skills, including ability to work quickly and accurately, to prioritise tasks and to use initiative.
