Join a major transformation initiative within a large ACT Government directorate focused on delivering whole-of-government digital capability. We seek a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support the Payroll Capability – Human Resource Management (PC-HRM) Program , particularly the Rostering, Time & Attendance project . Location: ACT Duration: 12 months initial contract with extensions Rate:$1120super Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) required Work Arrangement: ACT-based only – No remote work available Key Responsibilities: Work within a multidisciplinary Agile team to support the discovery and design phases of a major HR transformation program. Validate and review vendor-delivered requirements, ensuring alignment to business needs using Agile artefacts (Epics, Features, User Stories). Develop and maintain project documentation, including Requirements Traceability Matrices and test case validation. Liaise closely with testing and change management teams to ensure robust end-to-end delivery. Provide regular status updates and manage risks/issues, and contribute to strategic governance activities. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in: Workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and process documentation Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g,. Azure DevOps) Stakeholder engagement and vendor management Functional and non-functional requirement specification Prior experience with Rostering, Time & Attendance systems is highly desirable. Ability to translate complex business needs into deliverable system designs and testable requirements. Strong analytical and documentation skills, with a holistic and innovative approach to digital service delivery. Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
