Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Maintenance Watch to join our team in Broome, WA . Your role In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency and maximise the availability of serviceable aircraft, including coordinating the timely rectification and/or maintenance required for return to service of delayed aircraft. Monitor and manage the supply chain for afterhours Aircraft-On-Ground parts as needed. Monitor operational critical defect requisitions to maximise aircraft availability, including ordering parts and ensuring availability of equipment. Advise Fleet Services Manager and Aircraft Operations Centre in a timely manner where defect rectification will impact the flight schedule estimated return to service. View current deferred defects daily to ensure that corrective action is planned and completed, as well as identifying reliability issues and work to implement solutions. Make application to Civil Aviation Safety Authority for all Minimum Equipment List extensions, Permissible Unserviceabilities and special flight permits, or similar processes, and communicate the outcome to Technical Services Manager and Operations in a timely manner. Interpreting of regulations and processes to provide advice on methods to manage the development and incorporation of non-standard repairs and modifications. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to plan the appropriate timeframe for work to be completed taking into account planned flight schedules. Authorise maintenance related ferry flights outside of normal working hours following consultation with Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Flight Operations as appropriate. Primary point of contact for aircrew technical support. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with all relevant stakeholders, including the Aircraft Operations Centre, and External Organisations. Ensuring high level of engineering and safety standards at all times, according to company policy and Civil Aviation regulations. Maintain a handover log as appropriate to ensure continuity of workflow. The essential requirements A minimum of Diploma in Aeroskills or equivalent and a minimum of two years’ experience as a B1 or B2 AME working on various Turboprop or Jet aircraft types that includes experience that aligns with key duties and responsibilities. Knowledge of CAMO and AMP expositions and manual suites Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively work with employees across various departments and other stakeholders. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage your own time effectively and prioritise your workload. Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC. Valid work visa; Current Australian Driver's licence.
