Consultant to Principal Planners (Infrastructure Projects) Join WSP and contribute to landmark infrastructure projects in Queensland. We are expanding our high-performing urban and regional planning team and seeking experienced planners from Senior to Principal level. About the role: You will drive the planning and delivery of major transport, renewable energy, pumped hydro, landfill, resource recovery, and property projects. Collaborate with engineers and specialists on multidisciplinary projects shaping Queensland’s infrastructure and communities. Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality planning advice for large-scale infrastructure projects. Leading or supporting planning projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring multidisciplinary outcomes. Engaging with clients and regulators to provide practical advice. Contributing to business growth through proposals and opportunity identification. Collaborating across teams to deliver impactful community outcomes. Recent projects: Planning Scheme Review, Water Utility Infrastructure, Business Cases, Corridor Assessments, Environmental Assessments. About you: You have 2 to 10 years of experience in urban, regional, or infrastructure planning, with a passion for creating vibrant spaces. Your background may include consulting, government, property, energy, or Defence. You hold tertiary qualifications in planning, with eligibility for Planning Institute of Australia membership, and possess knowledge of Queensland planning legislation. Project management, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
