The New Ivanhoe Hotel in the heart of the Blue Mountains is seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. Known for our welcoming atmosphere and classic pub fare, we’re looking for someone who can deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in line with pub-style and seasonal offerings Ensure food is consistently prepared and presented according to standards Assist in planning daily prep and managing kitchen operations during service Monitor stock levels and inform the Head Chef or Manager of shortages Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices are followed at all times Support compliance with health and safety, and food safety regulations Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service Help with receiving and storing deliveries and rotating stock as needed Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Cook in a busy pub, bistro, or restaurant environment Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential) Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic Permanent Full Time role with $73K - $78K (plus super) If you believe you would be a good fit for our team, please send your resume and contact details to the details attached.
