Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to the established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure food is prepared efficiently and safely in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including all work areas, equipment, and utensils. Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or order requirements to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries to ensure freshness and compliance with FIFO practices. Collaborate with the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with team members and contribute to a productive team culture. Adapt to various kitchen sections and support other team members as required. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen or hospitality venue. Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
