As a senior consultant, you will also mentor peers, contribute to practice development, and play a pivotal role in shaping Cognizant’s generative AI capabilities. Mandatory Skills The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a deep understanding of generative AI concepts. Experience should include: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Technology services, with strong emphasis on Software Engineering delivery and architecture (Through certifications and / or demonstrable industry experience) A proven track record in guiding clients through advisory, technology selection, and solutioning, playing an outcome-focused role in leading complex transformation projects. Strong full-stack development skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, Java, or C++, as well as experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks. Expertise in generative AI: In-depth knowledge of generative AI techniques, including LLMs, GANs, and their applications. Cloud platform experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Azure but AWS experience is also valuable. Machine learning frameworks: Proficiency in using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Architectural design skills: Understanding of software architecture principles and ability to contribute to the design of scalable and maintainable systems. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Roles And Responsibilities The Senior GenAI Software Engineer – Technology Consulting is responsible for: Design and implement cloud-based software architectures using Azure and AWS ensuring best practices and mandatory requirements are met. Designing and implementing software components that integrate with generative AI models and applications. Integrating advanced generative AI models, such as large language models (LLMs) and Transformers, to address specific business needs. Seamlessly incorporating generative AI capabilities into existing or new applications to enhance user experiences and drive innovation. Continuously evaluating and improving the performance of generative AI models to ensure they meet desired accuracy, efficiency, and scalability standards. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI research and technology to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Working closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers to ensure successful delivery of generative AI projects. Collaborating with architects to define the overall architecture of generative AI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Ensuring code quality: Writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
