Join to apply for the Senior Software Engineer (Android) role at Heidi Health The Role We’re seeking a Senior Android Engineer to lead the development of our native Android applications, working closely with iOS engineers and product designers to deliver seamless mobile experiences. Responsibilities include architecting and building Heidi’s Android app, integrating on-device machine learning models, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. What you’ll do Architect and develop Heidi’s Android app from concept to launch. Define Android infrastructure and best practices. Collaborate with iOS team for cross-platform consistency. Integrate on-device ML models for real-time AI features. Work with design and product teams to create intuitive UIs. Ensure privacy and security standards (HIPAA, GDPR). Optimize app performance and reliability. What we’ll look for 5 years of Android development experience, proficient in Kotlin and Android SDKs. Deep knowledge of native Android APIs, Compose, Jetpack libraries, and architectural patterns. Experience with on-device ML models (TensorFlow Lite preferred). Familiarity with REST APIs, offline storage, and app deployment on Google Play. Exposure to iOS development (Swift UI) is a plus.
