Job Title Facilities Coordinator Job Description Summary We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Facility Coordinator to support the delivery of integrated facilities services at a major public healthcare precinct located in Herston, Brisbane. The site is recognized as a key part of Queensland’s healthcare infrastructure, delivering specialized surgical, treatment, and rehabilitation services. In this role, you will provide operational and administrative support to ensure facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations and contractual requirements. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will work closely with service providers, internal stakeholders, and client representatives to manage maintenance, compliance, and operational processes across the site. Job Description Key Responsibilities Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance tasks to meet compliance, safety, and performance targets. Monitor contractor service delivery against KPIs and Service Level Agreements. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for scheduling, documentation, and reporting. Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and vendor performance oversight. Support asset lifecycle management initiatives and engineering data analytics. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental protocols are followed, including contractor compliance and audit processes. Contribute to sustainability goals and operational efficiency improvements. Deliver a high standard of service and communication to support a positive experience for staff, patients, and visitors. About You Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a facilities coordination or operations role, ideally within a healthcare or complex infrastructure environment. Proven experience with CMMS and asset management systems – essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word). Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is desirable. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
