Your Next Role Join Hyne Timber as a Corporate Accountant, where you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for our Corporate and Sales cost centres. Your expertise will ensure key stakeholders have accurate, timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making. In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner, providing clear financial analysis while ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements, including BAS, FBT, and income tax lodgements. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency. Prepare and reconcile monthly financial reports with meaningful variance analysis. Provide cost centre owners with clear financial insights to support decision-making. Complete month-end reconciliations and financial records on time. Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, and assist with income tax returns. Ensure compliance with all taxation and financial regulations. Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with cost centre owners. Present financial information in a clear, user-friendly format. Maintain an accurate asset register, ensuring proper recording of transactions. About you Accounting degree with 2 years post qualified experience in finance. Professional membership with an accounting body (e.g CPA/CA) Excellent time management skills and be able to work effectively to deadlines. Sound knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of current accounting, reporting and auditing standards such as AASB standards. Working knowledge of large ERP systems (Pronto, or similar) Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information. Why Hyne Timber?
