Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking an accountant who enjoys stakeholder engagement to join their team. The Role Reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, you will have a strong focus on process and procedure improvement while working with your stakeholders in terms of their financial and operational performance. Your role will be broad and encompass a strong reporting and analysis focus and stakeholder engagement across the business. Duties will include, but not be limited to:- End of month/ end of financial year reporting for management PL variance analysis and commentary Development and review of budgets and forecasts KPI reporting Process improvements Stakeholder engagement across aiming to build stronger links to the finance function. Other adhoc duties as required The Candidate Proactive and results oriented, we are seeking an Accountant with experience working across the full EOM process in a medium to large business or someone looking to make the leap from Business Services to commerce. Ideally recently CA/CPA or studying towards, you will have:- Strong technical accounting skills including and a focus on internal controls and process improvement Exceptional communication skills (written verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels High intermediate to advanced excel Strong analytical focus and ability to look at processes Most importantly - you must be highly driven to succeed and enjoy working within a high performing, team based environment that likes to have fun while they work!
