We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to lead a capable finance team, manage core reporting and regulatory obligations, and liaise with stakeholders across Australia and China. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong leadership qualities, bilingual communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial operations and compliance in a multinational environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting journals, ledgers, and records of all financial transactions. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, fixed asset maintenance and depreciation, monthly adjustments, and bank reconciliations. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes in line with accounting standards. Prepare and consolidate accurate financial statements and internal management reports. Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing capital and operating budgets. Produce regular cash flow reports and collaborate with departments across the business. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and lead the annual audit process. Manage full tax compliance, including BAS, IAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax Returns. Work with tax advisors on cross-border funding structures, including ALDT, TIR, and CBCR. Design and implement tax-efficient strategies for asset disposals and regulatory compliance. Assist senior leadership in improving financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Lead annual budgeting, tracking, and resource planning to support operational efficiency. Conduct variance analysis on marketing, administration, and project costs to support strategic decisions. What We're Looking For: Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) - essential for international communication. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CA preferred). Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role. Knowledge of Australian tax laws and financial regulations. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, and financial analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate across cultures. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
