About the Role Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, the FP&A Analyst is responsible for assisting with the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting within the business, including: • Assisting with Group planning and forecasting including sending instructions, creating templates, business unit consolidation and reporting • Assisting with monthly group reporting, including instructions, creating templates, business unit consolidation and reporting • Assist in implementing a new planning and reporting tool for the group • Prepare and assist with analysis for board reports & other tasks for exec team to provide insightful analysis to support senior stakeholders decision making Key Accountabilities • Coordinate monthly management reports covering financials, cash flow, budget tracking, KPIs and capital management • Support external reporting cycles (half-yearly and annual) and investor relations, including detailed business unit analysis • Lead financial and strategic planning processes, managing the annual planning and quarterly forecasting workflows, whilst developing templates and consolidating reports for exec teams • Drive business performance analysis through financial modelling, long-term projections and operational reviews, including implementation of new forecasting tools • Streamline and enhance existing processes and reporting procedures Knowledge, Skills and Attributes • Chartered Accountant (or similar) qualification • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or similar corporate finance roles • Strong financial modelling capabilities with the ability to maintain and take ownership of existing models, plus excellent communication skills to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders • Demonstrated track record in building collaborative stakeholder relationships and delivering results against self-directed goals • Sharp analytical mindset with proven ability to identify data trends and compile accurate analyses, while proactively identifying process improvements • Customer orientation – accurately anticipates emerging and current client needs, establishes, and maintains positive relationships with customers.
