What We’re Looking For Must-Haves CA/CPA qualified (or actively working towards it) 3–5 years’ experience in internal accounting roles, ideally in a mid-sized company Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and compliance requirements Strong Excel skills and other financial tools Methodical and structured approach to tasks Strong communication and teamwork skills Nice-to-Haves Experience managing intercompany transactions or multiple entities Exposure to finance process improvement or system streamlining Confidence navigating a fluctuating, high-demand workload What You’ll Be Doing Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports, accruals, and P&L commentary Support month-end and year-end close processes Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including variance and trend analysis Oversee and help with day-to-day accounts payable , including reconciliations Perform daily bank account reconciliations across multiple entities Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Workcover returns Ensure accounting practices are in line with relevant standards and legislative requirements Assist in internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and responding to audit queries Provide financial data and analysis for internal reporting and decision-making Participate in process improvement initiatives across the finance function Support onboarding and knowledge sharing with junior team members About Bizcap Bizcap is one of Australia’s fastest-growing Fintech companies.
