The Role Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a diverse, hands-on accounting role combining commercial exposure with compliance-focused responsibilities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across investments, legal, and project teams in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities Full-function accounting duties across multiple entities Accounts payable, receivable, and supplier/customer management Payment processing and bank reconciliations Month-end close, reporting, and ledger maintenance BAS/IAS preparation and lodgement Financial and management reporting Project-based accounting for property developments Partnering with Development Managers and business teams Budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis Tax compliance across companies, JVs, and trusts Financial statement preparation and year-end support Assistance with tax consolidations and technical accounting matters Providing ad-hoc accounting support across the wider business The Candidate CA/CPA qualified Strong technical and practical accounting skills Confident in reviewing and interpreting financial information Experience with systems such as MYOB, Xero, or Sage Intacct is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Highly organised with strong time management Team-focused and proactive in approach Desirable Attributes Experience within the property or construction sectors Background in public practice, ideally with exposure to property groups or joint ventures Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance High attention to detail and analytical mindset How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
