About the Role Strong focus on high quality of compliance work. You will be reporting directly to the Principal and take charge of a list of clients for undertaking compliance work. Duties and Responsibilities You will be responsible for • Preparation of financial statements for Australian companies and trusts; Australian SMSFs. • Preparation of Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals, partnership and SMSFs. • Preparation of BAS/IAS. • Preparation of management reports including consolidations, cashflow and forecast, return on investment and benchmark reporting. Using financial data to perform analysis such as budget control and revenue & expenses trends to assist with business decision making. • Self-Managing workflow and budgets, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy. • Conduct tax related research and support the principle and directors for providing the clients with advice and tools to manage their tax obligations. About you In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have: • A minimum of 5 years business services/tax experience in public practice firm. • Be CA/CPA qualified and have a tertiary degree with a major in accounting. • Proven client relationship building and maintaining skills. • Sound technical knowledge around financial statements and tax returns preparation for multiple entities. • Well-developed time management skill and organization skill. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to details.
