Call Regina Bailey at Crisdale Recruitment on 6478 7788 Your role will entail overseeing all tax-related matters for the organisation, ensuring strict compliance with Australian tax laws, aiming to minimise tax liabilities and ensure timely and accurate returns. Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare and file accurate tax returns and ensure timely payment Ensure adherence to the organisation’s Tax Management Plan Maintain and administer tax compliance platforms and systems Support internal tax audits, reviews, and risk assessments Attend to tax audits, queries and advise on tax-related matters to management and stakeholders Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to optimise company tax strategies Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Review and analyse financial statements for tax implications Qualifications and Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, Finance or similar CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it) Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar in-house role or within a large accounting firm In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations Proven experience with tax planning, compliance, and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Sound communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, verbal and written Proficient in Tax Software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and MS Excel Have a professional attitude and work to a high standard and accuracy If this or any of our positions strike your interest, you meet the above criteria and are seeking a change we encourage you to apply with your updated resume via seek or for additional information please reach out to Regina Bailey at Crisdale Recruitment 6478 7788.
