Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Construction Superintendent role located in the DFW area. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction site management, ensuring construction safety, demonstrating strong organization skills, managing budgets, and project management.
The Superintendent manages designated field activities associated with the project and supervises designated field construction work by subcontractors and employees. The Superintendent assists the project team to ensure the project is built on time, within budget, and in accordance with db constructor's policies and procedures and the focus on our vision and purpose through Service, Talent and Choices.
Qualifications
- Drywall/painting experience - for the attention to detail purpose.
- Construction Site Management and Construction Safety skills
- Can read and understand blueprints
- Metal Building experience wanted, but not required
- 3+ years experience commercial/industrial construction
- Strong Organization Skills for coordinating complex construction projects
- Budgeting and Project Management experience
- Experience in coordinating construction schedules and teams
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Texas
- Certification in Construction Management or related field is a plus
- OSHA current registration or will take course if hired.
