This is a fantastic opportunity to join the next phase of the Building Commission within NSW. https://www.nsw.gov.au/departments-and-agencies/building-commission/building-commission-nsw-careers Responsibilities include: Identify, analyse and translate business processes, technical functions and a broad range of data from disparate datasets into meaningful insights to identify valuable opportunities to enhance business performance Investigate problems, analyse options and provide recommendations for new and existing services, new initiatives, strategies and products to improve compliance, effectiveness and to address risk Translating complex analysis into meaningful insights and recommendations to effectively influence a diverse range of key stakeholders with varying expectations Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned to platform capabilities, particularly within Salesforce environments Conduct assessments to evaluate the implications of proposed changes and document business rules, functions and requirement Supporting the delivery of complex programs and initiatives to realise a range of efficiencies and benefits within a fast paced, agile and high-volume environment Manage and monitor relationships with, and between, stakeholders to engage with users to understand and analyse solutions to business problems, collate needs and research fit for purpose solutions Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to gain/maintain specialist and business knowledge and to facilitate scoping and setting of business priorities To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in digital projects as a business analyst (Salesforce desirable) Problem solving ability to think through ambiguity, and lead and guide others to achieve business outcomes Experience in a regulatory and government environment Experience working with complex and diverse stakeholder groups Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service Proven capability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Experience in conducting workshops for requirements gathering process mapping and stakeholder engagement Salesforce BA certificate or Salesforce knowledge desirable.
