They have an exciting opportunity for a level 1 and 2 technical support engineer who has a solid background in IT support. The role supports the IT Manager with all IT projects, efficient day-to-day running of the business, customer support and business growth. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1–2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents relating to Windows, macOS, Office 365, and business applications. Provide network support on LAN’s and Routers Support Microsoft 365 services including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. Perform routine administration of Windows and Linux servers, including patching, monitoring, backups, and maintenance tasks. Support device and application management through Microsoft Intune Adhere to security best practices including MFA, patching, and access control. Log, prioritise, and resolve support requests through the IT ticketing system (Jira) in accordance with agreed SLAs. Communicate clearly and professionally with end users, providing timely updates and resolution outcomes. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or 3rd party vendors where appropriate. Maintain a high standard of customer service while managing multiple competing priorities. Essential Experience and Skills Qualifications in Information Technology. Experience with Remote Access tools, Microsoft stack & Jira. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills particularly in the explanation of technical concepts to other stakeholders. High attention to detail and analytical skills. Demonstrated administrative, organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated problem solving and prioritisation skills. Sound decision making capability. Desirable Experience in a consumer electronics retail/wholesale business. Previous experience in supporting Pronto. Previous experience in a similar role.
