Job Type: Casual Hours: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM About the Role: Looking for a hospitality gig that gives you your evenings back? We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Casual Cook / Kitchen All-Rounder to join us for the lunchtime rush on our busy fish punt! Working closely with the owner right on the water, you’ll help us serve up high-quality fish and chips to hungry locals and visitors. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love the idea of a short, sharp, action-packed daytime shift, this is the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities (11 AM – 3 PM): The Cook: Frying and preparing high volumes of fresh fish, chips, and seafood quickly and consistently during the busy lunch rush. The Prep & Clean: Helping with quick pre-lunch setup, keeping the station tidy, washing dishes, and wrapping up the lunchtime pack-down. The Front-of-House: Working side-by-side with the owner to take customer orders, handle payments, and serve up hot meals with a smile. What We Are Looking For: Experience in commercial cooking (fryer/fish & chip experience is a must). The ability to work fast and stay calm when the lunchtime queue gets long. A positive, friendly attitude—you’ll be interacting directly with our customers. A true team player who is happy to jump from cooking to dishwashing to serving.
