We are now seeking a Mining Engineer – Open Pit to join our Technical Services Team at our Laverton Operation, to support our Jupiter and other open pit operations. In the role you will support safe, efficient and cost effective mining operations through mine production, drill and blast designs and operational support. The Opportunity Contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations Prepare drill and blast pattern designs, tie-ins Review drill and blast results, and provide reconciliation and improvement recommendations Undertake short-term mine planning and support plan execution Design short-term mine infrastructure, including dumps, haul roads and access ramps Prepare dig plans, face maps, and operator instructions to support selective mining Upload and manage dig designs and surfaces on machines Liaise with production, geology, and survey departments to ensure efficient execution of production plans Monitor fleet productivity and recommend improvements Collect operational data and prepare daily and weekly recon production reports What You Can Expect From Us A caring and supportive culture.
