About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate casual Marina Technical Officer to join our Recreation Services team at Port Coogee Marina. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the marina by delivering outstanding customer service, undertaking daily marina inspections and waterway patrols, maintaining marina infrastructure and assisting with the safe and efficient operation of the marina. This hands-on role combines customer service, maintenance and boating, making every day different. About you We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities. Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have: A Coxswain Grade 2 Near Coastal qualification (or higher). Current Senior First Aid and CPR certification. A current WA Class C Driver's Licence. Demonstrated boat handling skills and experience working safely around vessels. Experience using power and hand tools to undertake minor maintenance. Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills. The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team. Salary and Benefits: Salary range from Level 4 Step 1 – Step 4 ($44.58 - $47.55, plus 25% casual loading) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
