Key Responsibilities: Utilize advanced equipment to detect electrical and electronic malfunctions in motor vehicles. Diagnose issues and recommend necessary repairs to restore vehicle functionality. Dismantle electrical components for repair, maintenance, or replacement. Install electronic components in motor vehicles using the appropriate tools and technical skills. Test and adjust engine control systems to ensure optimal performance. Test, replace, or repair defective components, including generators, voltage regulators, ignitions, and electrical wiring. Conduct scheduled maintenance to detect and address any faults, ensuring vehicles operate reliably. Replace defective parts such as fuses, lamps, and switches. Ensure all components function properly and meet safety regulations. Desirable Qualifications and Skills AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV. Alternatively, three years of relevant experience. Preferably two to three years of relevant work experience. Strong customer service skills. Excellent knowledge of electronics and mechanical components. Fine technical skills and proficient problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
