Labourer – Air Conditioning Installation Team (2 Positions Available) Mint Airconditioning & Refrigeration is one of Canberra's leading air conditioning companies, specialising in premium residential and commercial heating and cooling solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking two reliable and motivated Labourers to join our Installation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry. For the right candidates, there is genuine potential to progress into a full HVAC Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprenticeship . About the Role Working alongside our experienced installation teams, you will assist with the installation of residential and light commercial air conditioning systems throughout Canberra and the surrounding region. Your duties will include: Assisting qualified technicians with domestic and commercial air conditioning installations. Carrying and preparing equipment, materials and tools for installation. Assisting with the installation of ducted heating and cooling systems. Running and securing flexible ductwork within roof spaces. Assisting with the installation of supply and return air grilles, outlets and zoning components. Loading and unloading company vehicles. Maintaining clean, safe and organised work sites. Assisting with the installation of outdoor units, pipework and duct supports. General labouring and manual handling duties. Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Providing support to ensure installations are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude while working in customers' homes and businesses. About You We are looking for people who have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in air conditioning is a high advantage but is not essential . You will ideally have: A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong reliability and punctuality. A hardworking and motivated approach to work. Pride in the quality of your work. Good communication skills. The ability to work well as part of a team. A professional and well-presented appearance. The ability to work in roof spaces and outdoors in varying weather conditions. A current White Card . A current Australian Driver's Licence . The ability to perform physically demanding work safely.
