ABOUT THE ROLE As Site Foreman, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects by coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors, maintaining project programmes, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the quality standards our clients expect. Working closely with Project Managers, Contract Administrators and subcontractor partners, you will be responsible for creating a productive and collaborative site environment while maintaining strong safety leadership. Key Responsibilities Construction Delivery Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities. Manage and monitor subcontractor performance. Drive short-term programmes and milestone achievement. Coordinate testing, commissioning and project completion activities. Assist with design coordination during the construction phase. Manage RFIs, inspections, defects and close-out processes. Safety and Quality Leadership Champion a strong safety culture across all site activities. Conduct site inspections, inductions, toolbox talks and safety walks. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and company systems. Manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality plans and defect rectification. Maintain accurate site records through HammerTech and Procore. Planning & Trade Coordination Lead subcontractor coordination meetings. Plan labour, materials, plant and site logistics. Monitor programme performance and implement corrective actions where required. Coordinate trades to ensure efficient project delivery. Cost & Commercial Awareness Monitor preliminaries and labour budgets. Identify cost-effective construction solutions. Assist with subcontract scope management. Escalate variations and potential cost impacts appropriately. Reporting & Stakeholder Management Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and project teams. Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Foreman or similar construction leadership role. Trade qualification in Carpentry or another recognised construction trade. Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies. Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and site programmes. Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, environmental requirements and quality systems. Ability to interpret drawings and design documentation. Strong construction sequencing and planning capability.
