About the role We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join the team at M & J Chickens in Perth, WA 6000. This is a casual position that plays a vital role in our logistics and distribution operations, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across designated routes whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service. This role is essential to supporting our business operations and maintaining our reputation for reliable delivery. What you'll be doing Operating vehicles to transport products to designated delivery locations in a safe and timely manner Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to meet customer expectations and schedule requirements Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition Loading and unloading goods whilst adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines Maintaining accurate delivery records, including signatures, times and any issues encountered Communicating professionally with customers and addressing any delivery-related concerns or enquiries Adhering to all traffic laws, company policies and health and safety regulations Reporting vehicle maintenance issues and any incidents or accidents promptly to management Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle interior and ensuring products are transported appropriately What we're looking for A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated C Class Proven experience as a driver in a transport, logistics or delivery role Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules Reliability and punctuality with a professional attitude towards work Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle goods safely A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance is desirable What we offer M & J Chickens values its team members and provides a supportive working environment.
