The company specialises in parcel delivery, freight transport, container transfer, and warehousing services for cross-border e-commerce businesses and local commercial clients. Based in Perth, our client operates a fleet of delivery vans and heavy vehicles supporting metropolitan courier deliveries and bulk freight transport operations throughout Western Australia. Due to continued business growth and increasing operational demand, our client is seeking to add an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to its transport operations team. The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of freight while supporting the company's ongoing commitment to quality transport and logistics services. The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Operate HR-class delivery and transport vehicles safely and efficiently; Transport goods, freight, and commercial cargo between ports, warehouses, and customer locations; Assist with wharf-side freight collection and unloading operations; Conduct vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after trips; Ensure compliance with road transport regulations, fatigue management, and workplace safety procedures; Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and transport documentation; Coordinate with dispatch staff, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding delivery schedules; Secure and restrain loads in accordance with safety requirements; Assist with loading and unloading when required. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: Valid Australian HR Driver Licence or overseas equivalent; Minimum one year experience in truck driving, freight transport, or logistics operations; Good understanding of transport safety and fatigue management requirements; Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks; Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts where required; Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Forklift Licence (LF) preferred; Experience working in freight, logistics, courier, or port-related operations highly regarded; Experience operating tail lift trucks or commercial freight vehicles advantageous.
