About the role R Radford and Son is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis in Warragul, VIC 3820. This is a key position within our organisation, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services to our residential, commercial, and industrial clients. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers throughout the Warragul region. Key responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Diagnose electrical faults and problems using testing equipment and troubleshoot issues efficiently Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications accurately Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance Install new electrical systems, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures according to specifications Test completed installations to verify safety and functionality Communicate effectively with clients regarding work progress, timelines, and any issues encountered Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on jobs Work safely at heights and in confined spaces when required What we're looking for Current electrical licence recognised in Victoria (Level 2 or equivalent minimum) Proven experience working as a qualified Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations applicable in Australia Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in challenging environments Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Willingness to continue professional development and stay current with industry standards Preferred: Experience with solar installations, smart home systems, or energy-efficient electrical solutions What we offer Working with R Radford and Son, you will be part of a respected, well-established business committed to delivering exceptional service.
