Position Type : School Leadership | Employment Status: Fixed Term/Contract | Classification Level: POR3 An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Inclusive Education Coordinator , or an aspiring leader with relevant experience, to join Xavier College, Gawler Belt (7–12) in a fixed-term, full-time Position of Responsibility (POR3), commencing Monday, 7 September 2026 until Friday, 13 November 2026 . This role may include a teaching component and should be read in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document. As Inclusive Education Coordinator, you will: Provide strategic leadership in inclusive education, working collaboratively with Campus leaders, teachers, Education Support Officers, students and families to support students with diverse learning needs to achieve success academically, socially and emotionally. Lead the planning, implementation and review of Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), supporting teachers to implement appropriate adjustments while ensuring compliance with CESA, legislative and policy requirements. Lead, manage and develop a team of Education Support Officers through effective communication, targeted professional learning and the strategic allocation of in-class support. Coordinate Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes and promote evidence-based inclusive practices that enhance learning outcomes for all students. Coordinate external supports and Allied Health involvement, ensuring compliance with College procedures and clearance requirements. To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a Bachelor of Education/Special Education (Inclusive and Special Education). Demonstrate experience in curriculum development with a focus on improving student engagement and achievement. Demonstrate the ability to lead, manage and develop a team, fostering a collaborative culture through effective communication, professional learning and the strategic allocation of support staff. Have proven experience in planning, implementing and evaluating differentiated and inclusive educational programs that meet the diverse needs of learners. Possess sound knowledge of inclusive education principles, disability legislation, NCCD requirements and evidence-based practices that support student wellbeing, engagement and learning. Demonstrate the ability to analyse, interpret and use data to inform evidence-based decision-making, monitor impact and drive improved student outcomes. Why join us?
