Dewatering Fitter (Pump) Silverstone is seeking a fixed plant experienced Mechanical Fitter with strong dewatering/pump experience to join the surface maintenance team at a well-established gold operation in the gold fields. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair dewatering systems (diesel and electric pumps) Work on Xylem and Godwin pump systems Monitor and maintain pipelines, valves and associated infrastructure Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing Troubleshoot faults and respond to breakdowns efficiently Assist with pump moves, line installs and pit dewatering setups Follow site safety procedures including permits and isolations Complete work orders, reports and maintenance documentation Liaise with operations to ensure continuous water management Skills and Experience Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Australian recognised) Proven experience in mine site dewatering Strong knowledge of pumps, pipework and fluid transfer systems Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills Solid understanding of safety, permits and isolations Current manual driver’s licence Able to pass medical and drug and alcohol screening National Police Clearance Desirable Experience in open pit gold operations HR licence, forklift or rigging/dogging tickets What’s on Offer FIFO ex Perth 8/6 roster (days only) Competitive hourly rate $80/hr plus super on all hours Long-term contract temp to perm opportunity with a well-established gold operation Strong safety culture and team environment Apply Now Immediate opportunities available, please apply now.
