Job: - Senior Data & AI Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance Required)Duration: - 12 Months (Possible Extension)Location: -Canberra (Onsite)We are looking for an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer for an upcoming project for one of the government organisations for a long-term contract.Required Skills 5 plus years of experience designing and managing relational and non-relational databases (specifically Azure SQL & Cosmos). 3 plus years of hands-on experience working with the Azure Modern Data WarehouseAzure Data Engineer and/or Fabric Data Engineer certification and Azure Database Administrator certification are highly desirable.Experience in Python, SQL, DAX, KQL, JSON, .NET, and ETL pipeline development.Hands-on experience in deploying AI/ML models and integrating them into cloud environments.Strong experience in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and provide guidance on data governance and data management best practices.Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop is a plus.Proficiency in configuring and utilizing cloud monitoring and logging tools to address operational incidents, and experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.Experience with Agile delivery methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and project success.Visa Status and Security Clearance.Candidates must be an Australian CitizenCandidates must have Baseline Security Clearance.
