Senior Network Engineer | NV1 Clearance | Canberra NW Technology is partnering with a leading Australian defence technology organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a highly skilled ICT Infrastructure team supporting critical enterprise and defence environments. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the administration, support and continuous improvement of secure network infrastructure across multiple Australian locations. You ll work with modern networking, security and cloud technologies while contributing to the reliability and resilience of mission-critical systems. Current NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory Key Responsibilties Support, administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. Monitor network performance, availability and security to ensure reliable operations. Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco network environments. Support Cisco Meraki infrastructure and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Assist with network upgrades, new site deployments and infrastructure improvements. Maintain network documentation, configuration management and asset records. Support network connectivity across Microsoft server, Hyper-V and Nutanix environments. Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to deliver stable, secure network services. Contribute to change management, incident resolution and continuous service improvement. Essential expertise Strong experience supporting enterprise Cisco networking environments. Experience with Cisco Meraki administration and support. Experience administering Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs and enterprise networking principles. Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments. Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills. Highly Regarded Firewall technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar). 802.1X and Network Access Control (NAC). Microsoft Azure networking and Azure Landing Zones. Microsoft Hyper-V. Nutanix infrastructure. Knowledge of ASD Essential Eight and DISP envi?ronments.
