Role details The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity You will have the opportunity to provide and be accountable for delivering and managing a range of administrative support services related to maintenance, purchasing, accounts payable functions, accommodation, telecommunications and vehicle requirements across the MHHS. The position is also required to ensure associated processes and documentation is maintained through high level administration support and ensure delivery of a professional customer based service with a focus on effective communication and positive outcomes. About The Team Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) provide planning, construction, operation and maintenance of all district physical facilities, engineering systems, plant and equipment, to meet strategic objectives within a quality environment. BEMS currently consists of professional, operational, administrative and trade staff. The administration team has two components, one is the Recourses Team which managers staff accommodation, fleet vehicles and telecommunications for the district as well as a Processing Team who manages the administration processes for our maintenance team.
