About the Program Woodcroft Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of our vibrant team. Key Tasks Provide a professional, welcoming and friendly service Assist in the maintenance and presentation of the library, and its collections Assist in the preparation of various library events and displays Assist library staff in pursuing digital literacy programs and activities Support adults with the challenges of adopting and utilising new technologies in a meaningful way Use personal protective equipment and comply with Safe Work Procedures. Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities Ability to work as a team member. Ability to work for an extended length of time in a public area. Able to follow direction from library staff. Physically able to fulfil the role. Ability to be on your feet for lengthy periods. Time Commitment Mondays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Special Requirements Must possess and provide a current Department of Human Services (DHS) “Cleared” Working with Children Check. * Attend Child Safe Environment training.
