Experienced Duty Manager – Yanchep Inn $80,000–$85,000 plus superannuation The Yanchep Inn is seeking an experienced and confident Duty Manager to join our established management team in a long-term, full-time role. We are entering an exciting new period of growth and are looking for someone who sees hospitality as a career—not simply another job. The right person will take pride in running a strong service, developing their team and becoming a trusted part of the venue. While we may be a country hotel, the Yanchep Inn is a large and diverse operation incorporating a busy restaurant and bar, accommodation, weddings and functions. We regularly manage: More than 300 covers across lunch and dinner Approximately 70–90 weddings each year High year-round accommodation occupancy Several departments operating at the same time You will work directly with the owner and Venue Manager, alongside two other full-time Duty Managers and two casual Duty Managers. During your shifts, you will help lead approximately 20–30 casual employees across the restaurant, bar, functions, housekeeping and maintenance teams. You will also work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate service and the wider operation of the venue. About the role You will be responsible for: Independently managing busy shifts from start to finish Leading, allocating and supporting staff across multiple departments Maintaining strong service and presentation standards Coordinating with the kitchen, functions and accommodation teams Managing customer concerns and operational issues confidently Completing opening, closing, cash-handling and compliance duties Supporting staff training and performance management You will be given time to understand our systems and operations and to work alongside the existing managers. Once established, you will be expected to confidently take ownership of your shifts and become a reliable senior presence within the venue. About you We are looking for someone who: Has proven experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or in a comparable hospitality management role Can confidently run a busy venue without constant direction Is proactive, organised and calm under pressure Enjoys leading people and setting strong service standards Thinks ahead and takes responsibility for solving problems Has genuine drive to build a long-term career in hospitality Experience across functions, weddings, accommodation or multi-department venues will be highly regarded. You must hold: A current unrestricted WA Approved Manager’s Card A valid RSA A current National Police Clearance, or be willing to obtain one Full working rights in Australia Sponsorship is not available for this position.
