The Helpdesk Officer reports to the Manager, Facility Management Unit, and is responsible for providing high‑quality administrative support to the Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB). The role also delivers effective Facility Help Desk services, including advice and support, to all areas across SAPOL. The Facility Management Unit, within SAPOL's Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB), is responsible for managing the Contractor Security Clearance process and maintenance request workflows. This function supports the delivery of safe, functional, and efficient SAPOL facilities by ensuring buildings and associated services meet operational business needs to an optimum standard across designated SAPOL sites throughout South Australia. PASB is comprised of the following seven units: Capital Projects Unit Major Projects Unit Strategic Infrastructure Unit Contracts, Impound and Armoury Unit Strategic Operations: Fleet & Property Facilities Management Unit Business Unit PASB operates with a strong “one team” approach, driven by leadership at all levels and a shared commitment to our Vision and Key Strategies.
