After successfully delivering major works at the Pilgangoora Operation, we are now pleased to be awarded the scope to construct a custom dome over the lithium storage facilities. We have immediate-start opportunities for Intermediate and Advanced Riggers on a 2:1 roster running both day and night shift, working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering a major construction project in the Pilbara, WA. The Role - Steel erection - Perform dual lifts and mathematical assessment - Assist with lift plans and lifting activities - Align level and anchor machinery - Maintain and tag rigging gear as required - Ensure rigging gear is stored correctly - Attach appropriately rated rigging gear to existing structures to facilitate the movement of loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoists - Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition; lock them away or return to store when not required - Perform other general duties as required About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following: - Current High Risk Rigging licence (RI and RA) and VOC - Current Working Safely at Heights certificate - Current High Risk elevating work platform licence (EWP) and VOC - Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card) - Previous experience on construction projects (steel erection experience preferred) - Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen Civmec You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a Never Assume culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
